The story behind GUIToolkits.com
In July of 2010, Amir Khella, UX designer and startup advisor, created Keynotopia in 3 hours and with $47.50 budget. The site went on to become a big success, gaining more than 30,000 customers in over 70 countries in the first two years, including top design agencies (IDEO, Adaptive Path, Razorfish,…), Fortune 500 companies (Microsoft, Apple, Google, eBay, AT&T,…) startups (LivingSocial, YouSendIt, CoolIris) and Universities (MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Melon,…)
Over the past couple of years, Keynotopia has helped designers sell ideas to clients, entrepreneurs pitch new products to investors, and product managers creating a new kind of interactive specifications to work with development teams.
After receiving lots of frequent requests to create similar templates for other design and prototyping tools, Amir decided to take the time to make it happen. And nine months later, GUIToolkits was born.
